Hi, I’m Dr. Alina Otgon, founder of Calmama.

Calmama began with a simple idea: motherhood comes with a lot to carry, and no mum should feel she has to carry it all alone.

I created Calmama to make the journey into motherhood feel a little more prepared, a little more supported and a little less overwhelming.

What started with thoughtfully designed maternity and baby bags has grown into a much bigger vision — creating a welcoming community for mums and mums-to-be where practical support, beautiful essentials and genuine care come together.

Through Dream Centre Studio × Calmama in Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, I want to create a place where women can come in, take their time, ask questions and feel comfortable saying, “I’m not sure what I need.”

Because you don’t have to have everything figured out.

Whether you’re preparing your hospital bag, getting ready to welcome your first baby, choosing the essentials for those first precious weeks or looking for a thoughtful gift for a new mum, Calmama is here to make things feel simpler.

For me, Calmama is about more than creating beautiful bags. It’s about the woman carrying them.

It’s about helping mums feel prepared, cared for and supported as they step into a new chapter of their lives.

Every detail of Calmama is created with that purpose in mind.

For the things you carry.
For the moments you treasure.
For the mum you are becoming.

With love,
Alina

My Approach

Calmama is built around a simple belief: mothers deserve to feel prepared, supported and cared for.

We thoughtfully bring together practical maternity and baby essentials with a warm, welcoming approach to motherhood. Everything we offer is chosen with real life in mind — helping make those first steps into motherhood feel a little simpler and less overwhelming.

Thoughtfully Practical

From preparing your hospital bag to those first days with your baby, we focus on beautiful, practical essentials that make everyday moments easier.

More Than a Bag

Calmama is about more than what you carry. It’s about creating a community where mums and mums-to-be can feel welcome, ask questions, find support and know they are not alone.
